I'm progressing apace through The Imperfectionists. I think it's having an odd effect on me. Even though I have yet to meet a character in this book that I like, I was online yesterday morning for a good hour looking at English language newspapers in the Philippines and elsewhere.

And no, I can't explain why the Philippines. I'm thinking it all kind of boils down to the exchange rates at this point.
